The rumors are true folks, Heiruspecs is doing our first streaming concert on Saturday. It is hard times right now for artists and we are excited to be part of a festival that is filling that hole by providing a format for us to stream one of our performances.
So check out our facebook page or our YouTube Page at 4pm CDT on Saturday, April 25 for a live performance. We can't wait to share some music with you in a time where that has become so hard to do. We look forward to sharing music with you again on Saturday. Be safe and have an excellent week.
Greetings from Heiruspecs land. Sean here. We've been hard at work on our new record. We have recorded the basics for all the tracks and now it is the exciting process of adding extra elements to the songs and mixing them! If you haven't ever mixed a Heiruspecs record it's like paying per hour to fight with your best friends and at the end a diamond comes out that you are so proud to look at that you forget you did any fighting at all.
But, I'm here right now to let you know that we have a big show coming up this month! We are playing on Tuesday March 17 as part of the Parallel 45 Winter Festival. That means we will be in Theodore Wirth park bringing you great jams alongside Bad Bad Hats, Brother Ali, The Okee Dokee Brothers and more! Plus, the whole thing is free. Get all the details right here!

$13 advance/$15 Day Of Show
The greatest live hip-hop band in Minnesota history is stepping back on stage for their Holiday Classic a handful of days after Christmas. Short of a couple outdoor shows and spot dates Heiruspecs has devoted most of their activity in 2019 to completing their forthcoming full length album (expected release Spring 2020). The group has decided to take a break from the studio and step on stage for a live show. The forthcoming album will be their first full-length release since 2014, though the group has released and EP (skyisfalling 2016) and a single (Relativity 2017).
Joining the bill will be the Twin Cities mainstay MaLLy. Fresh off of the release of his new album “The Journey to A Smile”. MaLLy is known for exhibiting a strong artistic duality in his music; he owns both a commanding, fiery delivery of rhymes detailing his ambition with an introspective tone of a man striving for improvement of self and the world around him. His wordplay, tonal variety and the universal nature of his subject matter are highlights of MaLLy’s content which appeals to a broad spectrum of listeners.
The show will open with the legendary DJ Dan Speak who has been a fixture of Twin Cities nightlife for well over 30 years. You can count on Dan to bring great tunes from all eras, something he’s been doing weekly with 2 Hype Tuesdays at Part Wolf.
It's that time of year again! We just announced the recipients for this year's Heiruspecs Scholarship at Central High School. Both of these wonderful students will receive $1500 to go towards their education expenses. Good luck to Miski Omar and Leo Remke-Rochard.
